ROOT TREATMENT OF A MILK TOOTH
Due to the natural anatomical characteristics of a milk tooth - little enamel and a very large nerve - a root treatment of a milk tooth is required much more quickly than for a permanent tooth.
A so-called root amputation, in which only the upper part of the nerve is removed, is a very common procedure in children's treatment that can be carried out quickly and without problems. A complete root treatment is rarely necessary.
