ANAESTHETIC

If all other treatment attempts have failed and there is a great need for treatment or acute pain in a small child, for example, and it is not possible to postpone the treatment, a rehabilitation under general anesthesia is an option. We work with the experienced anaesthetist Dr. Christoph Schuschnig and his team once a week. Treatment under general anesthesia must be carefully planned and prepared in advance. We discuss everything with you in detail and are there to answer your questions.

LOCAL ANAESTHETIC

We do not use the classic ‘’injection‘’! We use the Calaject® device for local anaesthesia. The local anaesthetic is applied between the tooth and gum and pressed around the roots of the tooth. This has the advantage that there is no ‘prick’ as the gums are not touched and the lip and cheek are not also anaesthetised. This also eliminates the unpleasant tingling sensation after the treatment and the children can eat and drink again immediately afterwards without any concerns.
