The last few years - with children but without a practice - have given me the opportunity to gather new ideas and acquire new specialist knowledge. At the same time, I was able to take good care of my boys and go on two big trips around the world with them. Full of new impressions and grateful for the experience, the time is now ripe to take care of other things again and I am happy to be able to accompany you and your child/children as a dentist.

EDUCATION / CAREER:

1990 – 1996: Studied dentistry in Munich, Leeds (GB) and Regensburg

1997 – 1998: Postgraduate studies in pediatric dentistry at New York University, NY, USA

1998 – 2003: Research assistant in the children’s department of the polyclinic for dental conservation at the LMU Munich

2000: Doctorate

2003: Appointed specialist in pediatric and adolescent dentistry by the German Society for Pediatric Dentistry

2003: Founded the “Kinderzahnordination Salzburg” with Dr. Nicola Meißner

2004: Took over the management of the ARGE pediatric dentistry from Prof. Dr. Peter Städtler

2005: Founder of the Austrian Society for Pediatric Dentistry, President until 2013, since then Scientific Advisory Board

Establishment of the spring symposium and the compact course in pediatric dentistry of the ÖGK

2005 – 2015: observing councillor for Austria in the EAPD (European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry) and the IAPD (International Association of Pediatric Dentistry)

2012: Birth of the twins Justus and Quirin

2014: Sale of the practice shares

2015 – 2018: Employed at the pediatric dentistry practice Dr. Christoph Schnelle in Traunstein, working on the new chair for pediatric dentistry at the

University Dental Clinic Vienna under Prof. Dr. Katrin Bekes, Head of Pediatric Dentistry at Smileclinic Salzburg

2015: Founding and management of the Salzburg Quality Circle for Pediatric Dentistry

2016: Founder of the specialist advice service “Everything about children’s teeth”

2018: Opening of the new children’s dental practice in the Riedenburg district
